Etiquette

Etiquette governs the behaviour of players on the golf course to ensure games are both safe and fun, and also so as not to harm other players, the course or equipment.

• Pay the fee and respect times

• Only go onto the Pitch & Putt course only after an introduction

• Wear suitable golf clothing

• Avoid slow play (11min/hole on average to be respected)

• On the second shot, the furthest away from the hole plays

• Once you’ve finished a hole, move onto the next start area immediately to mark the score

• Lift the pitch marks on the greens

• Don’t throw cigarette butts

• Replace divots

• Rake any traces in bunkers

• Be patient on the course & driving range

• Always be polite. Greet other golfers and staff members

• Don’t run on the greens

• Carefully place flags on the greens

• Never drive a cart on the green.

• Place your equipment towards the next start area

• Do not park carts in start areas

• Never drive carts in the carpark

• Follow signposted directions

• Do not move start markers

• Put posts back in place

• Return ball buckets to the distributor

• Never take balls from the driving range

• Driving balls forbidden on the course
